Hephzibah

Hephzibah f
Biblical name meaning ‘my delight is in her (i.e. a new-born daughter)’. This was borne by the wife of Hezekiah, King of Judah; she was the mother of Manasseh (2 Kings 21). It is also used in the prophecies of Isaiah as an allusive name for the land of Israel (cf. BEULAH (SEE Beulah)).
